This cocktail is inspired by the flavors of jerk seasoning.
Caribbean Cocktail
2 oz gold rum
1 oz Grand Marnier
Juice of ½ lemon
Juice of 1 lime
1 oz ginger syrup
Shake ingredients with ice and strain into a cocktail glass rimmed with Caribbean sugar.
Caribbean Sugar
1 part bar sugar
1 part freshly ground cinnamon
1 part freshly ground nutmeg
1 part allspice
Stir ingredients until evenly combined.
Variation: Use sugar as rim garnish on other tropical cocktails, like Mojitos or caprahinas.
