Tropical Sour Fizz

Get Busy with the Izze

Lately I have a crush on Izze. The signs are there...veiled references to sodas with novel flavors (Grapefruit Margarita Fizz)...heady thoughts of torquing my fizz recipes by subsituting basic lemon-lime soda with blackberry or pomegranate soda... the four-pack of pear soda whose flirtations I could not resist just yesterday...

Tangerine Sour Fizz

1 oz rum
1 oz amaretto
Izze clementine soda

Combine rum and amaretto over ice in a highball glass. Top with tangerine soda and stir.

Yum! The only downside about cocktails is that I don't enjoy them as often as I would like to.;)
Cowgirl Creamery is one of my favorites. I could spend all day in front of a good cheese case...hmmmm, I might have a problem. haha! Thanks for stopping by. I'm linking you to my page.

I agree, Deb -- I'd love a little more time for cocktails myself.

That said, I am glad I got time to check out your blog (OK, I admit, there was some overlap with cocktail time there). I'll be digging into your archives soon.

Wegman's recently expanded into Northern Virginia -- that store has a great cheese case, although it's dwarfed by Cowgirl. Have you tried burrata yet? I haven't had the chance yet, but it looks delicious.
