Ginger Syrup

This ginger syrup is more potent than other recipes out there -- but ginger flavor should pop, not disappear, even when combined with other strong flavors.

Ginger Syrup

½ cup sugar
½ cup boiling water
3 T grated fresh ginger

Combine ingredients. Stir until sugar dissolves. Strain.
